2017 Statewide Job Fair

Dear Employer:

The Florida Career Centers is pleased to invite your organization to the Annual Statewide Job Fair at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  The Statewide Job Fair provides employers the privilege to recruit graduates and alumni from Florida’s ten state universities at one event.

The Statewide Job Fair will be held on May 9, 2017, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the CFE Arena.  This job fair attracts over 150 employers and 1,500 students and alumni seeking full-time, professional positions. Space is limited.  Registration for this event will close on May 2, 2017 or when the event is sold out, whichever occurs first.

Registration fees and deadlines for the Annual Statewide Job Fair

Early Registration Deadline: April 3, 2017
Regular Registration Deadline:  May 2, 2017

Career Expo Registration Fees
Standard Registration
*Early Registration fee:  $692.25 per table
Regular Registration fee:  $745.50 per table
Electricity:  $53.25 per table
Additional Representative:  $26.63

*Tax Exempt Employers
Early Registration fee:  $500.00 per table
Regular Registration fee:  $550.00 per table
Electricity:  $50.00 per table
Additional Representative:  $25.00

*Tax Exempt Employers must provide a valid Florida Sales Tax Exemption Certificate prior to registering for the Statewide Job Fair. Information should be faxed to 407-823-5909.

Registrations canceled at any time are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. Registrations canceled after the early registration deadline (April 3, 2017) will not be refunded.

Registration & Payment Policy

The early registration payment deadline is April 3, 2017. Failure to provide payment by this date will cause those with unpaid balances to be dropped from the event list. At that time, the regular registration fee will be due in order to participate. Registrations made after April 3, 2017 will be required to pay the regular fee IMMEDIATELY at time of registration.

  • Login to KnightLink using your existing username and password (sign-in tab at the top of the page)
  • Click on the 2017 Statewide Job Fair registration link
  • Complete the registration form and submit

Online Event Registration Instructions for employers without a KnightLink account

  • Go to https://ucf-csm.symplicity.com/employers/index.php
  • To create a KnightLink account, click on “register” tab at the top of the page
  • Complete company information (be sure to select career fair in the services requested section)
  • After your information is submitted, you will receive your system generated username and password as soon as possible
  • Once this information is received, you must log back into  https://ucf-csm.symplicity.com/employers/index.php  and follow the above event registration instructions for employers with an existing KnightLink account to register for the 2017 Statewide Job Fair

  1. Attend Career Expos/Job Fairs - Expos and Job Fairs provide excellent opportunities to showcase your organization, develop your brand on campuses, and to network with students and alumni/ae from a wide range of academic majors.

  2. Post Jobs/Internships in Online systems -Each of the 10 State University Career Centers offer an online job/internship posting system which can be accessed by employers and students 24/7. Can be accessed through each Career Center's Homepage. Employers create a profile, login and password and can post jobs, collect resumes, register for job fairs, and schedule on-campus recruiting activity.

  3. Information Session-Schedule a room/time to present information about your organization to students.

  4. Information Table -Set up an information display table in a high traffic area on campus. This approach allows you to speak informally with students about your organization.

  5. On-campus Interviews-This service which includes use of Career Centers' interview rooms, enables recruiters to prescreen candidates and to schedule interviews.

  6. Keys To Success:-Utilize a variety of recruiting services and/or programs; Maintain a high level of visibility and name recognition on campus; Get to know the Career Centers' staff and help us to understand your hiring needs and preferences so we can assist you in developing the best strategy to achieve your goals.
